I'm glad it's Unionized, but I'm ashamed I have to pay $20 a month to the Union, given how it treats the part timers these days. The 2013 Contract was rejected by a vote of the membership, but ratified by the Union President's Veto power. The fact that Non Union FedEx in offering comparable benefits, with higher pay makes the UPS Teamsters look like a joke of a Union. The Union barely stands up for us, yet makes us pay dues because of Union Shop. If the Union wasn't so corrupt, we might be able to make UPS a great place to work again. Until then, I will remain embarrassed to be a UPS Teamster.
