The Role
The Facility Operations Team continuously monitors and manages infrastructure systems ensuring they meet the specifications of the end user. When there are degradations to these systems that impact safety or production, the Operations Team will be the first line of defense to make time-critical adjustments.
What You'll Do
- Conducting troubleshooting tasks for low and medium voltage switchgears (NXAir and SF6) and relays. Operating, troubleshooting and programming, setting Siemens Siprotec relays using Digsi Software is preferable.
- Validation, optimization and efficiency analysis for cost savings and reduction of energy throughout the factory
- Ability to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams and single line diagrams of different HV/MV/LV & DC systems in the facility.
- Establishes specifications and solutions for installation, modification, quality control, testing, operation, inspection, and maintenance of Emergency Power Supply System (EPSS) and high voltage electrical systems according to commissioning standards, EPSS engineering principles and safety regulations
- Provide technical and configuration support for the implementation and maintenance of energy systems utilizing tracking techniques and trending software
- Facilitates the implementation of improvements in electrical asset effectiveness, availability, and maintainability
- Drive root cause analysis on process or asset failures Experience with SCADA and Energy Monitoring system – preferable.
What You'll Bring
- Relevant construction experience building high-tech infrastructure and operational facilities (MEP services, solar, battery, etc.)
- “Schaltberechtigung 110kV/10kV” according to German law preferred
- Good German minimum B1 level preferable and English full-professional skills required
- Proven track record of managing cross functional projects
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Ability to interface with multiple engineering disciplines
- Expert in electrical safety procedures
