Introduction to the job

Work with a major participant in the semiconductor industry and directly support ASML's equipment by applying your technological experience. Role and responsibilities

In order to guarantee consistent uptime and efficiency, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and troubleshooting ASML's cutting-edge equipment in this position. You will be working with a team that is dedicated to maintaining a wide range of our systems in our Customer Support (CS) division. Joining a team that values cooperation and brings together experts from different fields will enable you to provide top-notch support and quickly resolve technical issues. The role entails a long-term position involving shift work and is aimed at candidates who consciously choose this way of working.

As a Field Service Engineer you will:

• Compile crucial information, evaluate challenging circumstances, and put innovative solutions into action under the direction of a knowledgeable and helpful team.

• Guarantee equipment dependability and uptime, carry out both preventative maintenance and corrective measures.

• Organize and safeguard resources to guarantee that all equipment and supplies are available when needed.

• Record and report technical actions to assure efficacy and promote a continuous improvement culture.

• Adhere to a customized program and work with different colleagues to improve your abilities and expertise.
  

Education and experience

• Technical background (vocational training or university degree) with a strong practical focus

• Experience in a technical environment – ranging from entry-level to senior roles

• Experience in technical customer support is an asset

• Very good troubleshooting skills and a hands-on mindset

• Motivation to commit to the long-term support of complex systems

Deine Aufgaben

Um eine konstante Verfügbarkeit und Effizienz zu gewährleisten, bist du in dieser Position für die Diagnose, Reparatur und Fehlerbehebung der hochmodernen ASML-Geräte verantwortlich.

Du arbeitest mit einem Team zusammen, das sich im Bereich Customer Support (CS) der Wartung einer Vielzahl unserer Systeme widmet. Als Field Service Engineer:

• Du erfasst wichtige Informationen, bewertest schwierige Situationen und setzt innovative Lösungen unter der Leitung eines kompetenten und hilfsbereiten Teams um.

• Du gewährleistest die Zuverlässigkeit und Verfügbarkeit deiner Anlagen und führst sowohl vorbeugende Wartungs- als auch Korrekturmaßnahmen durch.

• Du organisierst und sicherst Ressourcen, um sicherzustellen, dass alle Geräte und Verbrauchsmaterialien bei Bedarf verfügbar sind.

• Du dokumentierst und meldest technische Maßnahmen, um die Wirksamkeit sicherzustellen und eine Kultur der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung zu fördern.

• Du arbeitest mit verschiedenen Kolleg:innen zusammen und nimmst an einem individuellen Programm teil, um deine Fähigkeiten und dein Fachwissen kontinuierlich auszubauen.
  

Deine Qualifikation

• Technischer Hintergrund (Ausbildung oder Studium) mit ausgeprägtem Praxisbezug

• Erfahrung im technischen Umfeld – von Einstieg bis Senior-Level willkommen

• Erfahrung im technischen Kundensupport von Vorteil

• Sehr gute Troubleshooting-Fähigkeiten und hands-on Mentalität

• Motivation, sich langfristig in die Betreuung komplexer Systeme einzubringen
