You’ll make an impact by

• Perform failure analysis on returned devices (hardware and firmware).
• Apply the 8D method for structured problem-solving and documentation.
• Global coordination of critical quality cases across factories (Berlin, Goa, Nanjing) and development sites (Berlin, Nuremberg, Goa, Hebburn, Vienna).
• Collaborate with Customer Care, production, development, and suppliers for root cause analysis and sustainable error prevention.
• Establish and maintain competence development for failure analysis processes across all sites.
• Support the definition and improvement of quality processes in the Return & Repair area.

• Education:
• • The basis of your success is a technical university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience & Skills:
• • First years of professional experience in failure analysis of electronic devices and their firmware.
  • Proficiency in quality methods (8D, Ishikawa, FMEA).
  • Product knowledge in protection devices (SIPROTEC, REYROLLE, SICAM A800) and their application in switchgear and power networks.
• Ways of working:
• • Effective collaboration in interdisciplinary and international teams, demonstrating strong intercultural competence and communication skills for constructive conflict resolution.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and solution development, with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements and priorities.
• Languages:
• • Fluency in written and spoken German and English; additional languages are an advantage.
