our tasks:

• s a member in one of our highly motivated teams you will develop our software products in various technological domains. In addition to a backend in a Java / Jakarta JEE environment linked to relational database systems, we have various client applications for different user groups applying technologies such as Angular2+ and Java(FX). To ensure optimal integration of our products in our customer’s environment, we also provide APIs (REST, GraphQL).
  As the creation of licences and certificates is a must for our customers, our products are also connected to a BI reporting tool (Jasper).
  At EMPIC, you will have the opportunity to progress in various technical areas and to take on responsibility for products and modules. Requirements are recorded with agile tools such as JIRA/Confluence and distributed, according to their scope, to one or several software engineers for implementation on all technological levels. You will be working in a modern development environment using an integrated gradle build system including unit and integration tests.

• ou have successfully completed training / studies focusing on computer science, software development or application development, or you have completed training as an IT specialist.

• ou have several years of professional experience in software engineering and solid knowledge of fullstack, backend, web, or mobile programming.

• our written and spoken English skills are very good and you have a solid basic knowledge of German and would like to develop this further.
