ASML is a high-tech company and a leading supplier to the semiconductor industry. We manufacture the complex lithography machines that chip manufacturers use to produce computer chips. What we do is at the heart of all electronic devices that inform, entertain, and connect us. At our Berlin site, more than 1,800 employees develop and manufacture key components for ASML lithography systems.

Role and responsibilities

As a mechatronics technician, you are our all-rounder. You repair and maintain mechanical, electronic, and mechatronic assemblies and systems that are required for controlling and operating our modern machines and equipment in manufacturing.

As Part of your your mechatronics apprenticeship, you will:

• Combine mechanical, electrical, and electronic components to create complex systems.

• Learn how to assemble, commission, and maintain various machines and equipment, such as CNC, grinding, and measuring machines, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

• Identify faults and malfunctions and resolve them using technical skill and analytical thinking.

• Install hardware and software, configure systems, and program equipment.

• Read and create technical documentation and, in the long term, become an expert for the machines in our production.

Your Qualifications

• You are motivated to learn an exciting profession, discover new things, and are not discouraged by early working hours.

• You have an intermediate school-leaving certificate, a university of applied sciences entrance qualification, or a general higher education entrance qualification.

• You are interested in science, mathematics, and technology and enjoy analytical thinking.

• You like working with computers and high-tech systems.

What We Offer

• Job security and long-term prospects through a very high retention rate

• Compensation based on our in-house collective agreement with IG Metall, including a 13th monthly salary and variable compensation components

• Working hours: 35 hours per week

Deine Aufgaben

Als Mechatroniker:in bist du unser Multitalent. Du reparierst und hältst mechanische, elektronische und mechatronische Baugruppen und Systeme instand, die zur Steuerung und zum Betrieb von unseren modernen Maschinen und Anlagen in der Fertigung benötigt werden.

Was dich erwartet:

• Individuelle Betreuung – wir begleiten dich während der gesamten Ausbildung und helfen dir, nach dem Abschluss richtig durchzustarten.

• Einblick in die Zukunftstechnologie – du arbeitest mit Maschinen und Verfahren, die in der Industrie weltweit gefragt sind.

Im Rahmen deiner Ausbildung Mechatronik wirst du:

• mechanische, elektrische und elektronische Bauteile verbinden – und daraus spannende und komplexe Systeme entstehen lassen.

• lernen, wie du verschiedene Maschinen und Anlagen wie z.B. CNC-, Schleif- und Messmaschinen montierst, in Betrieb nimmst und wartest – damit alles läuft, wie es soll.

• Fehler und Störungen aufspüren und mit Köpfchen und Technikgeschick beheben.

• Hard- sowie Software installieren und die Systeme der Anlagen einstellen sowie programmieren.

• technische Unterlagen lesen und erstellen und langfristig der Experte bzw. die Expertin für die Maschinen in unserer Fertigung werden.

Deine Qualifikationen

Alles kann, nicht alles muss. Wenn du unsere Voraussetzungen nicht erfüllst, überzeuge uns einfach von dem, was du kannst.

• Du hast Lust, einen spannenden Beruf zu erlernen, Neues zu entdecken und lässt dich auch von frühen Arbeitszeiten nicht abschrecken.

• Du hast einen mittleren Schulabschluss, Fach- oder Allgemeine Hochschulreife.

• Du möchtest handwerklich arbeiten und legst dabei Wert auf Gründlichkeit und Präzision.

• Du interessierst dich für Naturwissenschaften, Mathematik und Technik und denkst gerne analytisch.

• Du hast Spaß am Umgang mit Computern und Hightech-Anlagen.

• Du lebst unsere Werte Challenge, Collaborate & Care, arbeitest gerne im Team und schätzt ein gutes Miteinander.
