We are currently hiring a Technical Assistant (BTA/ MTA)/Biology Laboratory Technician to join our team based in Berlin.
This position is a one-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of conversion to a permanent position.
Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Preparation and processing of samples from clinical trails
- Immunmonitoring using epigenetic qPCR markers: Bisulfite conversion and purification of DNA samples, performance of qPCR analyses, evaluation and quality control of data
- Handling of pipetting robots
- Laboratory organization, equipment maintenance, order management
Desired Qualifications:
- Successfully completed vocational training as a biology laboratory technician or technical assistant
- Knowledge and practical experience in handling clinical trial samples, molecular biology methods and a good understanding of cell biology are highly desirable
- Ideally professional experience with practical workflows in GCP laboratories
- German language skills (at least B1 level)
- Be able to communicate effectively in the English language
- Good computer skills, confident handling of MS Office (e.q. Excel, Word)
- Technical and social competence within the team
- High level of quality awareness and ISO-compliant working methods and documentation
