How do people from developing countries negotiate salary in the ME? for example I am earning 30,000 usd per year in India and in discussion with employer in the UAE for a corporate strategy role. They ask for my current salary and expected salary. How much should I expect given salary is not transparent in the region.
Hi, I know you’ve seen a hundred of these but bear with me. I’m trying to move to Dubai from the US (which right now is a rough market for marketers) and I’d love an honest gut check. Is July/August actually dead this year, or has the war shifting travel patterns thrown the usual summer slowdown out the window? I’ve been to Dubai, I know the market a little, and I’m just trying to time this right. Any read or advice would mean a lot.
