I know this is such a personal decision but trying to get some perspective.... im 37 and have 2 kids, 3.5 and 1.5. i want another but i also dont want to wait too long given my age. others who are in their later 30s and considering another kid. how do you weigh the decision for more kids based on your age and the kids age gap? I wish i would wait til my younger kid was 3 or 4 but given my age i feel pressure to try sooner
My son lovesss the garbage man, who's the sweetest guy ever. He passes out candy to kids, and even brought toys/ candy for Christmas. When we stopped seeing him on trash day for a few weeks we got worried and asked the current guy, who explained that he was in a car accident and is okay, but having wrist problems with driving the truck. We want to build him a get well or welcome back gift basket, but I have no idea what to put in it for this older man. Please give me some ideas!
How long did you give your nanny to get acclimated? I feel like mine started off strong doing all the things I wanted her to do (tummy time, reading, etc), but now she just tries to put the baby asleep as quickly as possible so she can read or scroll on her phone. I find myself repeating things a lot but starting to get a little frustrated
When did you first travel with your LO? Baby is 3months old and hubby and I are thinking of taking a summer vacay somewhere, however he wants to drive to a nearby beach town that’s 3hrs away and I’d prefer to take a short flight somewhere nicer because I’m not a fan of the beach town or being in a car with a screaming baby for 3hrs. Thoughts?
Has anyone applied pre-partum leave through NJ TDI? My OB said she can sign the forms for me to stop working after 36 weeks. I asked her if I need to have any medical conditions that I can’t work and she said no, pregnancy is one of the conditions. Deloitte doesn’t provide prepartum leave and I will need to file the claim and receive benefits directly from the State. I’m wondering if anyone applied as well and how’s the process. I still have a good amount of PTO that I can use so debating
Because companies offer what they need to in order to be competitive in a specific market. It’s inherently not fair if you’re doing the same role, but it’s true with paid time off, leaves, benefits, salaries, etc. For what it’s worth, your salary will probably be significantly greater being US based.
It was more of a rhetorical question. But thank you for answering
