I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at ADP in Apr 2010
Interview
Expect a long process, interviewing is highly behavioral questioning. Tell me about.... you, a time when you calmed down an angry customer, dealt with a belligerent coworker and so on.
Typically there will be more than one manager present for the interview, or you will speak with more than one manager throughout the process.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at ADP (Augusta, GA) in Mar 2013
Interview
The hiring process with this company is extremely slow, however, that is to be expected with a company of its size; they want to be sure that they have the best candidate. I was invited to three separate interviews in which I interviewed with the recruiter, the hiring managers, and finally the director of the division. That being said, the interview process went very smoothly and I was impressed by the thoroughness of the interview process. ADP certainly does not hire you regular "Joe Blow" off the street, they make sure that the candidate is not only qualified but also able to work in a team environment.

The most difficult question that I was asked was: If hired what could I contribute to the company?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ADP in May 2010
Interview
I submitted a resume & got a phone interview about 3 weeks later. It was a few weeks afterwards that I then got scheduled for an interview with 2 managers, which followed a series of skills tests (in regard to computer & service skills). I also had to take a drug test. They did call all of my previous employers.
Be honest in your resume, and sincere in your interview. In a job where you handle sensitive data & deal with clients, it's important to be honest, security-concsious, confident, & pleasant. Trouble-shooting skills are always a plus. The job is difficult but it's a solid company with great benefits.
