I applied online. I interviewed at ALDI (Brisbane) in Jan 2026
Interview
I applied through the official website and received a video interview link.
Although I had not completed the video interview, I received a group interview invitation within 24 hours.
Before the group interview, I had an online physiotherapy appointment, which was simple and conducted like a Zoom meeting with no pass or fail.
On the day of the group interview, I arrived at the store before opening hours. The area managers greeted us and explained ALDI’s products, packaging, and store operations.
We were given five minutes to explore the store and warehouse while the managers observed our attention to detail.
After that, we were divided into small groups of two or three and asked questions such as why we wanted to work at ALDI, why we were suitable for the role, and to share something interesting about ourselves.
In the group activity, each person introduced the next participant, who then presented that information to the group.
The managers took notes on each candidate during the process.
Finally, we were taken to the office to complete an availability form, select preferred store locations, and answer a few basic questions, including simple maths, which they explained would be covered during training.
