I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ALDI (Birmingham, England) in Jan 2017
Interview
Interview was casual and relaxed. Standard questions of where you see yourself progessing in the company, and while applying for the job.
There was a tour of the store and 30minutes working along a member of staff.
There were no questions about the history of the company, the number of stores in the country, or anything technical. And I feel that is fine. A store assistant doesn't need to know that, all they need to know is where the tinned beans are.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at ALDI (Bristol, England) in Oct 2020
Interview
Mini online video after doing an online assessment, and then called in for interview if successful. The interview was 1:1 but I’ve heard some have had a group interview.
