I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Naas) in Jan 2020
Interview
Applied online, A alot of questions which took me about an hour to finish, then got invited to the first interview with the area Manager which was easy and straight forward, took a maths test with 10 questions very simple.
Then got an email 2 days later to come over for shop experience, that went ok, walk around the store, and some manual, health and safety all that jazz, wasn’t asked to pack shelves, seemed like I got the job but a week later received an email saying I was unsuccessful so nothing to worry about, It was a good experience in all fairness, I probably didn’t get it because I don’t drive and wasn’t that flexible!
I still recommend this place, if you want yourself a challenge and work in a busy environment!
Tills don’t show change so you need to be good at math!
I applied online and was then through to a group assessment. And then got through to the interview stage. After that i had an induction day where i was shown around the store and told what to expect.
Process was relatively enjoyable and streamlined.
At times it felt as though staff were not prepared for the process and could at times seem rather overly confrontational when discussing answers to questions
