I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ASML (Hillsboro, OR) in Aug 2021
Interview
Panel interview, 3 hour total, 6 interviewers. Standard process and statistical questions. Over a very good experience. Experience with lithography is highly recommended to prepare for interviews. But good knowledge of statistical methods are ok.
I have interviewed with this company twice, and both recruiter screening calls were disappointing. The recruiters seemed disconnected from the technical aspects of the roles and focused almost entirely on checking boxes and aggressively pushing for a salary number. In one case, I was even told, "I don't want to waste time—just give me a number."
In my experience, recruiter quality at other semiconductor companies is significantly better, with conversations centered on understanding a candidate's background, skills, and motivations. Here, the process felt transactional, and the compensation discussions were well below market rates. Fortunately, the hiring managers and engineering teams were professional, respectful, and much more engaging than the recruiting experience.

It was one half day onsite with 3 different interviews. You first introduce your experience, previous project. Then there was a case study, and which you can prepare before. In general not that difficult.
