Accenture Solution Architect interview questions

The interview was supposed to be a technical round, but it was just a discussion! I was asked to describe a few situations and my action on it (non technical). No technical questions. The interviewer said she wasn't interested in knowing my technical acumen, that can be learned later on. I was happy about it because I know I would have to catch up on technical stuff before I get into the role. In the end, we closed on a good note. After some time, I get a call from the HR that she wants to collect my details for the next round. I gave the details and upon telling my expected salary, she was like, then you can apply for a senior role next year. I said ok fine and she disconnected. I mean what just happened? I called her back, and told I wanted to ask one thing, when your HR called me to verify details before the interview, I clearly told my expectations, then why is it not acceptable now? She is like the interviewer recommends you for a junior role. It is so disappointing that my ability to be in a solution architect role was judged by just a discussion? I gave a few interviews before and received offers way higher than what Accenture had to offer, but waited for this interview to happen. And the other companies that interviewed me had a process of interviewing, which included giving presentations, or sample architectures or demos or technical questions, or testing my negotiation/sales skills too! And that I feel is fair too. But what happened in Accenture was very unprofessional, I felt it wasn't fair! It is an underestimation of someone's ability. If I would have been judged on my skills/technical acumen and rejected, it would have been fair. But this isn't really fair. Very disappointed! In this way, they will be losing on even the best of the talents or end up hiring someone worst!
