I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Adyen (Singapur)
Interview
The interview process at Adyen is quite different from other companies I've interviewed at.
They don't expect you to leet code, nor do they require you to regurgitate algorithms on your feet. However, I do find that they focus a lot more on their company values, The Adyen Formula, as well as cultural fit.
I discovered this when they have more rounds of short cultural fit interviews than technical interviews. Every interviewee, no matter how junior will get cultural rounds with top level management, like C-suite folks, to show that even these people are accessible to the most junior people in the company, should the need arise.
Adyen interviewers were also very straightforward. They managed my expectations that it isn't all rainbows and ponies in the company and there are a set of challenges I need to overcome should I join the company. This is a refreshing change from past interviews where the interviewers always oversold the position.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Adyen in Jul 2022
Interview
First interview 30 min HR interview with a team member. No technical questions. They asks a lot about Adyen formula.
Then they send a Hackerank coding challenge. Problem solving, SQL and completing a project.
I couldn't solve all the questions, so didn't select for interviews after that.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Adyen (Singapur)
Interview
7 rounds:
1. HR (culture)
2. Team (culture,technical)
3. Online assessment (technical)
4. Team (technical)
5. Team (culture)
6. Management (culture)
7. Management (culture)
While there were many rounds, most of the rounds were relatively short (~30 minutes). So the interview rounds progressed relatively quickly (1st round to offer in about 1 month).
The recruiter was very responsive throughout the entire process. Overall, I enjoyed the style of the interviews because it felt like they were assessing both technical abilities and who you are as a person.
The interviewers were also very upfront about the job expectations and company. Thanks to this, I felt I was able to get a good grasp of the company and team even before joining. I do wish more companies used this style of interview.
