They ask for your diplomas, certificates, transcript just to let you waste your time. The HR in made of incompetent interns unable to understand different grading systems and languages. They also delocalized the hr function in eastern europe just to cut costs. In my opinion they don't even read them. So what is the purpose of all this? Apparently is more important the grades of a degree earned on a bygone era than experience. The documents asked contain sensitive information that allow them to discriminate based on nationality, address, sex and age. They also ask for your salary expectations, they basically use an auction system like in the fish markets (the less expensive get the position). If you don't live in Munich and you don't speak German don't waste your time even if they say that the office language in English,
