The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Amazon in Aug 2011
Interview
phone interview with an HR representative and then another with someone from operations. Onsite interview consisted of two groups of 2 people asking the basic questions on leadership. Was told I'd hear back in a week or two, but didn't hear anything for over 2 months.
They didn't take care of traveling expenses when traveling to on-site interviews and cost me a few hundred dollars for the process.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had to deal with an employee not performing their job well.
Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Stamford, CT)
Interview
Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. Talked to 3 different people, all of whom were wearing old sweatshirts and not looking at the camera. As I was sitting on zoom in a suit jacket, did not feel at all a place I would be valued at.

Question 1
Conflict between coworkers, how would you approach resolving?
All virtual. STAR interview questions (situation task action result). Think of examples of tough situations you had to deal with. I think I had 2 or 3 interviews before I got an offer. Pretty smooth process overall.
