I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Amazon in Feb 2012
Interview
I applied through my university and got called in for an interview. It was two parts, with the first being the standard behavioral questions. It was more relaxed and easy going than the second part, which is the problem solving aspect of the interview. Make sure you understand process flow and to look over the questions that are posted on this site, as they are used verbatim. The guy was pretty intimidating so be prepared for that as well.

Question 1
Tell me a time where you had to deal with a difficult team member
Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Stamford, CT)
Interview
Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. Talked to 3 different people, all of whom were wearing old sweatshirts and not looking at the camera. As I was sitting on zoom in a suit jacket, did not feel at all a place I would be valued at.

Question 1
Conflict between coworkers, how would you approach resolving?
All virtual. STAR interview questions (situation task action result). Think of examples of tough situations you had to deal with. I think I had 2 or 3 interviews before I got an offer. Pretty smooth process overall.
