Series of phone interviews followed by hands-on , design assessments, in-person interviews
It was for aws solution architect.Phone interviews are done senior folks with rich technical expertise. It will be good experience even if we can't clear the phone interviews. They truly respect the candidates.
Couple of tech assessments were given after phone interviews. I prepared and spent a lot of time ( 3 days for design assessment alone ) in assessment however felt not given a fair chance to present my case. The design assessment review was done only by one person that too by a junior folk who did not fully understand or tried to understand candidate view's.
AWS has to be consider atleast 2 person to review the design assessment WBS and provide a fair/biased feedback. I focused only on amazon interview not attending any other interview calls but it was disappointing not making through .
