I was referred by a member on the team. The interview process was fairly smooth and I received the schedule for subsequent rounds fairly quickly after submitting my availability, beginning with the first round which was scheduled after I answered the questionnaire sent by the Sourcer. The first and second rounds were phone screens on Amazon Chime. The Loop interview consisted of 5 people, including the Hiring Manager and the Bar Raiser. The interviews were pretty straightforward and were conducted without hiccups on Amazon Chime due to COVID. Once the interview was done, I emailed the recruiter 3 times after 4 business days. No response. I was ghosted by the recruiter who did not bother to answer any of my questions during the preparation for the loop interview and did not reply about the status of my candidacy after the interview. A week after my interview, I checked the Amazon Job portal where it was mentioned that my profile is no longer under consideration for the role. Pretty pathetic way of telling the candidate after they have spent an entire day for the interview process and preparing for a long time before the actual interview. For a company following Customer Obsession as their primary Leadership Principle, this was a very poor representation and experience as a customer.
