Applied for one job that wasn't actually vacant, but was set up to interview for another position. There was lots of HR support leading up to the interview, but events started late, and overall questions were unnecessarily complex in trying to overlay interview questions against company leadership principles vs. hitting skillsets/experience relevant to the position. I did not receive an offer, but later received multiple follow ups for other opportunities.

Interview
For manager and above, once the recruitment team identifies a candidate, they are scheduled for interviews. Apart from a phone round, folks will typically go through 4-6 rounds of additional interview. It will help if candidates are able to structure their responses in SBI format bringing out strengths that align with Amazon leadership principles.
