I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Amazon in Apr 2011
Interview
I interviewed initially with a recruiter over the phone. It was 40 minutes and very engaging. I was asked to give a quick summation of what I had done in the last two years. I landed an in-person interview from the phone call. I'm transitioning out of the military so it was a little difficult to translate my military skills to the civilian world but it seemed to go well and I'll see how the on site interviews go.

Question 1
Quickly describe the last two years and what you have done to increase production or productivity.
Star Method and Leadership Principles. Just study these from the materials they give you, and form a story for each principle, and when they ask questions, you can see which principle they are asking about.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you faced a conflict or disagreement at work and how did you handle it?"
Multiple online tests after application, followed by a virtual interview with various staff. Staff did not want to be on camera and did not have many good things to say about working there.
Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.
