Initial screening by recruiter which was quite standard. The problem was with the hiring manager interview. I should have memorized a number of "evidence " or scenarios prior to the interview. The interviewer just had an app that was presenting him with questions from a question bank, and you will massively improve your chances if you have everything rehearsed and memorized following the STAR method. There are tons of videos on YouTube about this method. My problem was that I was self employed for many years and have always believed in listening to the question and ensuring that the the conversation was a dialogue. Unfortunately it seems that what is important in large corporations is to be super prepared with examples and lots of them. Do not repeat the same example twice. Memorize all the stats around your evidence such as impact on business or technology preferably in quantitative terms
