The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon in Jun 2011
Interview
1st off I have to present 4 case studies prior to the interview
2nd a word math problem
3rd you will have to present them in your interviews
4th three separate interviews with two people each.
5th people were nice and they all seemed to love what they do.
6th do your research I was over prepared but it worked to my advantage I got an offer
7th know your worth. Highly encourage you negotiate your salary
Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Stamford, CT)
Interview
Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. Talked to 3 different people, all of whom were wearing old sweatshirts and not looking at the camera. As I was sitting on zoom in a suit jacket, did not feel at all a place I would be valued at.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Conflict between coworkers, how would you approach resolving?
All virtual. STAR interview questions (situation task action result). Think of examples of tough situations you had to deal with. I think I had 2 or 3 interviews before I got an offer. Pretty smooth process overall.
