I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2017
Interview
I was asked a question shamelessly copied from Cracking The Coding Interview (as if that was any indicator of engineering talent) and then given a lightning round of pop-quiz questions about data structures that I never ended up using once I worked there. The interviewer was clearly reading from a script.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
* Largest subarray sum
* Lookup time complexity of various data structures
* Insert time complexity of various data structures
The interview is made up of three parts. The part 1 questions are really easy, It takes me less than half-hour. Part 2 questions just like questions on leetcode(easy or medium). Part 3 is interesting(reading message and emails).
Interview starts with basic coding round. Next was coding and algorithm test. After technical interview , there was HR interview. HR interview was good , he ask some basic questions to test thinking skills.
