I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
It was a very smooth process. The HR coordinated very well. The interviewer was very pleasant. The team didn't seem to be doing very hot and important feature development though.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Amazon

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Bengaluru) in Feb 2021
Interview
I had a really bad experience, not once but twice. I am just going to write about the recent one though.
The interviewer for System design round was not really interested in taking the interview as it was happening on a Saturday evening. He skipped over few of my explanations and was really rude. Also, the interview was supposed to last for an hour, and the interviewer left the meeting in 45 mins as he needed to step out. To top it all, after the interview he asked me to write a code and submit to him offline.
This is highly unprofessional. My final interviews were postponed for 3 months citing date issues. So very disappointed with the process.
And I really hope, recruiters read this feedback and take some action, but I guess this will just be another futile attempt.
And by the way, it's been more than a month and I still don't know the interview results. Cheers to that!
