After applying, there's an HR Phone screen round with standard behavioral questions, pretty standard. Then there's a one hour technical round, which I did not pass. The interviewer was friendly, and at the end it seemed like I made it through, but they scheduled a soon after to tell me I would not be moving on.

I applied online. I interviewed at Applied Intuition
Interview
I had a brief time to introduce myself at the beginning of the interview, and then the rest was spent on a technical problem. Interviewer was collaborative, and wanted me to think out loud and talk through my approach. I may have taken too long to get to the optimal approach on my own, but instead of prompting me to find something more efficient, the interviewer told me which approach I should take.

You're getting a list of event logs, composed of timestamps and events that happened at each timestamp. Write functions to access all of the events that happened before a given time, after a given time, or between two given times.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Applied Intuition in Jul 2022
Interview
I applied online. A recruiter reached out to me for the initial conversation (30 min), then connected me with her manager (30 min), and finally their VP (45 min). Everyone was friendly and casual throughout the process, though the conversations were fairly unstructured so it was difficult to prepare for or find the right time to ask questions. I was at the end stage when they announced a hiring freeze, and asked me to reconsider in a few months. I ended up accepting another job elsewhere, but had a pretty good impression of Applied after the conversations. However, they did require to be in-person in South Bay as a part of their work culture for the first year, which gave me hesitation since most companies are offering full remote opportunities.
