I applied online. I interviewed at Applied Intuition
Interview
Their process seemed pretty good. Recruiter phone screen into technical interview, which would have led into an onsite and then a casual hiring manager chat. Was my first interview since searching this time, so I was shaky on the coding question. The good part is that the recruiter called and gave direct feedback from the notes.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Applied Intuition (Mountain View, CA) in Apr 2022
Interview
1. Call with the recruiter to learn about what you want and allow you to ask questions to them.
2. Heard back same week that I got the technical phone screen.
3. Do my technical phone screen, stumble but the interviewers are supportive. Hear back ONE HOUR LATER (!) from the recruiter that I got the onsite. They even gave me feedback on my coding interview! Never happens with big companies.
The recruiters are super quick (company really values speed) and accommodating to whatever your timeline is.
4. Onsite
Didn't get an offer but no hard feelings since it was one of the smoothest experiences I've had interviewing for a company.
The process: call with recruiter > technical screen > onsite > leads chat
Interviews focused on different technical screens that all seemed to be derived from real projects the interviewers worked on in the past. Not many "brain teaser" type questions. There's plenty of opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the company throughout the process. The recruiter I worked with was very engaged with me throughout the entire process and we would check in after each step.
For anyone going through the interview process I would recommend becoming familiar with the values listed on their website.
