I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Applied Materials (Gresham, OR) in Jan 2022
Interview
A recruiter from the company reached out to me, and we set up an appointment to talk with 3 engineers from the company over zoom. The interview was brief, with some introductions and a few questions related to projects I'd done in the past. At points, one of the interviewers would ask me to elaborate on the subject, focusing on technical knowledge and problem solving ability. A lot of the questions had to do with electronics.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Applied Materials (Singapur) in Aug 2025
Interview
Got called for an interview about two weeks after applying. The conversation with the manager was easygoing, and I could follow all the questions without issue. It just seemed like they were more focused on someone with a strong theoretical background rather than mainly hands-on experience. Overall, I’d say it was an average interview.
