I had a more detailed interview with Aurecon. Very clear of to what they are looking for this the opening. I had 3 interview and they are both informative that you can decide right away.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Aurecon (Brisbane) in Sep 2018
Interview
The process took weeks, I had to do a several-hours-long job trial, then they 'forgot' to book parking at their office in Brisbane so parking cost me $65. After an initial phone interview and a second 1.5-hour interview that I had to travel 2 hours each way to attend, they have been ignoring me. If I can manage to get a response, the response is normally something like "sorry, we're making the decision today, we will let you know tomorrow." (I've been told this 3 times over 2 months.) They never let me know. For the amount of time I commited to the interview process and job trial, I would have appreciated a simple "sorry, the role has been filled by another applicant".
Screening call and then panel video interviews. The people and work were interesting, but the recruitment process itself left a lot to be desired. Extremely difficult to communicate with the recruiter: unresponsive and unhelpful. A very bad look for a company trying to innovate and attract great talent. Massive misstep in terms of brand, saw me walk away.
