The hiring process at BMG takes an average of 30 days when considering 2 user submitted interviews across all job titles. Candidates applying for HR Manager had the quickest hiring process (on average 30 days), whereas HR Manager roles had the slowest hiring process (on average 30 days).
There was an initial interview and then a 40 minute presentation deck in the second interview, this was a panel followed by questions from different members of the executive team.

They asked to prepare a deck for a newly acquired artist.
I went through 2 stages, the team where super professional and so nice. The hiring manager was super responsive and kept me informed throught the process. Super transparent and even though I didnt get the Job, it was a good experience.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself and walk me through your experience.
The process involved two stages. After submitting my CV, I was invited to a first interview with HR. This was followed by a second-stage interview with HR and a senior leader. Unfortunately, the experience was not smooth — timelines given to me were not respected, I had to chase for updates several times, and in one case I did not receive the calendar invite until I followed up myself. The interviews themselves felt unstructured and not particularly engaging, In the second interview one of the interviewers was not on camera and did not speak at all, which made it difficult to get a good sense of the role or the team. I never received any feedback. I was totally ghosted. Overall, the process gave me serious doubts about the culture and professionalism of the organisation.
For a company that presents itself as a modern and people-focused business, this experience was disappointing. I hope BMG takes this feedback seriously and improves the way it treats candidates, as the recruitment process is often the first reflection of company culture.

Question 1
Most of the questions were read from a script and were fairly generic competency-based questions. For example: “Can you give me an example of a time you had to deal with a difficult stakeholder?”
