I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Bayer (Saskatoon, SK) in Jan 2010
Interview
I applied and within a week I was asked to do an interview. The interview fell into a strict 30 minute window between applicants. It was an informal face to face interview with questions about my previous work experience and how I interact with a team. There were no technical questions. The majority of the interview was the manager explaining how the laboratory functions and determining whether I would be a good fit.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bayer in Jun 2022
Interview
Bayer offered to do a phone interview about a week after I submit my application through a recruiting agency. The interview only took around 15 minutes. Despite feeling poorly about how the interview went, I received an offer later that day.

Question 1
Most of the questions were about past situations and how I had handled them. "Tell me a time when you worked together with a team to solve a problem." "Tell me about a time things went wrong and what you did to navigate the situation."
Very professional and polite interviewers who focused on behavioral questions rather than overly technical questions. Allowed a lot of time for the interviewee to ask questions about their experiences and the company.
