I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Bloomberg (London, England) in Jul 2020
Interview
The video interview was easy to do, but a bit weird as you talk to yourself. You have 8 questions, 45sec to think and 1:30min to answer. It's convenient as you can do the interview wherever you are and at a time suitable for you (over a 3 day period post receiving the email).
Cons: This is a substitute for a in-person interview, so it's unfortunate that you won't receive any feedback on your performance.
I definitely could've said more about key strengths on the products, look them up!
I was surprised I didn't move forward, although I was well prepared in advance and the interview went smoothly with fluent speech and confident answers. I'm bilingual, was from the first that applied and did the interview the day after I received the approving email. But I'm sure they have their reasons (e.g. diversity hire). Good luck with anyone who wants to apply! It's a good company, although pay in the beginning is quite low.
