I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Bloomberg in Jan 2023
Interview
few technical rounds and Hr preparation call for the next stages, at each stage they explain what's coming to make sure you are well prepared in my case the last technical interview wasn't 100%, it took me a while to figure out one of the problems and for them that wasn't acceptable I think its kinda harsh to not accept the candidate for only one question which wasn't perfect but was good, but anyway the general experience was great and the feedback at each stage was so helpful which is something that you don't see at most of the big corporates I hope in the future to get the chance to interview again with Bloomberg
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (London, England) in Jan 2023
Interview
It was a mixed interview experience for me. Recruiter was fine in the beginning however post the final interview behaved a bit cold. I had first resume screen on phone call with recruiter, then live coding session [first round]. I progressed to the final round - with 2 sessions [1 system design and 1 coding]. Moved fairly quick from first call in first week of Jan to final decision by last week of Jan [4 weeks].

Question 1
First round - LRU cache-based [design implement module for url history]
Coding test was fair. Too bad the HR was dishonest and acted like they had memory loss when I told them my comp expectations. Their offer was far below the range asked for as if they were living in an alternate reality. If this is how they act before they hire you, expect to be gaslit after they hire you.
