Booking.com Software Engineer I interview questions

1 month from application to the initial contact with HR person and the technical round. Leetcode style algorithm question followed by system design. System design question was about high level design of a reservation system with users and admins. overall good experience.

At first, I applied and went through recruiting interview, live code interview (which was leetcode medium (BFS/DFS), "reconstruct the whole travel given list of trips"). After being ghosted (and all my emails being ignored) for 3 (!) weeks, I was informed that the position is already taken by another candidate. However, after a while I was contacted by the recruiter who performed the initial (first) screening call, and she offered to put my CV under consideration for some other positions. I had to undergo through live code again (as recruiter said, the new team did not want to accept the result of the previous interview), but the task was THE SAME! It is an insane waste of time. After two weeks, a system design and final interview in a row. In a couple of days, I just get an automated "unfortunately,..." email from no-reply address, not even from a recruiter. No feedback was shared. I wasted a couple of days to get an automated e-mail.
