It took a whole day. Each session 45 min with two persons. Mainly technical questions. The bar is pretty high and you'll need to be very clear about what you have in your resume. Also be prepared about the basics of the WLAN communications.
telephonic interview was easy.basic vlsi questions and some basic aptitude questions. Questions of basic hr and about comfort with the new location were asked. Panel of two people conducted the interview abd it was fairly easy to crack with little knowledge of basics
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Broadcom (San Diego, CA) in Jul 2014
