I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Broadcom in Mar 2015
Interview
They reached out to me to setup an interview after I applied online.
The interview was conducted by two, leader of Software Quality Assurance team and a new member of the team. Interview lasted for 1 hour. It was fairly straightforward, with most questions about my resume. The team leader asked some basic theoretical questions and approaches to unit testing and corner cases.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Broadcom (Richmond, BC) in Sep 2014
Interview
Interview was about 1 hr long. Two of their senior engineers come out and interview me. Starts out with about 10 min of behavioural questions, then technical part starts. My interviewers ask 3 questions regarding simple string manipulation and data structures. Overall, it was all basic technical knowledge and interviews will guide you through the questions if you get stuck.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Broadcom (Santa Clara, CA) in Feb 2013
Interview
I actually was not interviewed. For administrative roles, Broadcom usually goes through a temp agency and hires contractors on temp to perm, so I was brought on as a temp and was made an offer.
