Despite the actual location of the job being in the US, the entire team from the recruiter to the actual engineering team only speaks Chinese. The recruiter could not even describe the actual job qualifications in English. I do speak Chinese but received my higher education in English, which from a culture fit perspective seemed to be the main dealbreaker.
