The HR recruiter scheduled an interview with me and never rang me or answered my messages. I had canceled a meeting with a client due to the interview. It was quite disappointing.

Getting to apply through their dysfunctional portal was impossible. I finally managed to get my application through via a known contact. They took me through several rounds of interviews, asked me to complete a project that required extensive research and asked me to gear up for the final HR round. Just an hour before this happened they called to tell me there was a budget cut and hiring freeze and that they would get back when this changes. I was really upset but was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. I was angered when I saw that they have again started hiring for similar roles. Did they just lie to me because I was too expensive for them? Then they should have been upfront. Oh and the best part? Nearly three months later they called and asked me if I could freelance. I said ok and then they ghosted me again! Heights of unprofessionalism.
