I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Colgate-Palmolive (Manila, ) in Jun 2012
Interview
It was a three-step process. HR interview, Individual Case Study and Panel interview, and Group Case Study and Panel Interview. The HR interview involved the usual probing into the qualities one has. The individual case study was more interesting in that a case was given to the applicant to solve and present to a panel. The panel was composed of various middle-managers of different departments. The last part of the interview process was a group case study. Two groups of four applicants were assembled and each had to solve the same case in an hour and present to a panel of managers. The managers asked questions like: who led the group? who contributed the most?.

It assesses teamwork, communication, and individual abilities through group discussions or activities. Finally a one one interview.
1st round: Basic HR interview - Go through your resume, describe past experiences, situational questions, etc.
2nd round: Fieldwork & solo case presentation - Groups are taken to different retail environments to observe. Each person then has to come up with a solo presentation with recommendations for the assigned store/s.
3rd round: 1 hr group case presentation (observed by panel) - Groups of 6 have 1 hr to solve a case and prepare a ppt presentation while being observed by a large panel. Each group then has to present while the other waits outside.
