I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Discover (West Valley City, UT) in May 2015
Interview
Applied online in March. Never heard anything until the end of April when recruiter emailed to say he wanted to discuss upcoming opportunities with me and we set up a phone interview. Did phone interview, very relaxed and basic. He scheduled me for a face to face interview with him that was similar to the phone interview. I was told I would hear if I was selected for a final panel interview by the following week. I did not receive any follow up until six weeks later. I had sent emails during that long wait. When they did call to proceed with the interview process, I was given two days to make arrangements for the final interview which I was unable to attend due to a scheduling conflict. When I called to reschedule I had to leave a message and still have yet to receive a follow up call from them.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to be adaptable with a work change?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Discover (Wilmington, DE) in Jan 2011
Interview
My process was likely unusual because I interviewed after getting approved by a family member for a hire referral. I completed the application and was scheduled for an interview. A week later, I met with a human resources staff member and conducted a pretty routine one-to-one interview. In fact nothing about it really stands out in my memory. I received a call with the job offer a few days later and started working about ten days later (upon successful completion of a urine analysis drug test and a satisfactory credit history report). The most prominent aspect of the background check that I recall was learning that the company needed to ensure that I had no legal judgements on my credit or arrest record in my background check.

Question 1
Do you prefer a consistent schedule or an adjustable work week?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Discover in Sep 2014
Interview
They really just wanted to know my interests and see where I would fit in with the company culture and where to place me on a team. It was two phone interviews and then an offer.
