I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Discover (New Castle, DE) in Sep 2013
Interview
You have to check your email or you will miss out. You begin with an email and are required to do 2 tests one real life one personality. From there you get a phone interview which if your selected they will disclose wage and schedule information but set you up for a second interview. Second interview is in person. Real brief but different than a regular interview. If chosen from there you have One more interview with the head of HR. From there you will be told if your hired or not and get a tour. They will also then schedule for you to come back to sign paperwork and do on site drug test and badge pictures
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Most tricky question is when they bring out magazine covers and ask to select the one you would read and why....then they go to ask you who you would write about in a magazine and why
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Discover (Riverwoods, IL) in Feb 2014
Interview
I was initially contacted by an internal HR screener, followed by an internal HR recruiter. After being screened by HR, I was interviewed by the hiring manager via phone before being invited to Riverwoods for on-site interviews. On-site, I met separately with the hiring manager, second-line manager/director, and finally with a panel of future colleagues.

Interview
Applied online on 3/9/15. They sent me a email the next day to take a assessment and schedule a phone interview. They called me a minute before my scheduled phone interview time and asked me about my previous jobs like why did I leave the company why do I want to leave my current employer why did I decide to apply for the job with discover. Went over the job description and a little more details about the position. The phone interview last for about 10-15 mins. At the end of the call we scheduled a in person interview for the next day. I got there 15 mins early and met with the recruiter for about 20 mins. They ask you pretty much the same as the phone interview go over the earliest and latest time u can work tell u the pay and the benefits. You have to place 12 cards in 3 Columns of 4. First row what are u absolutely great at then the 2nd row then the 3rd what could u use improvement on. Cards say things like multi-tasker responsible hardworker level headed enthusiastic achiever etc. Then u meet with the hiring manager for about an hour. He ask the harder questions but not to hard you're asked to role play and some basic interview questions like why discover? Why should we hire you? What do u like most about ur current job etc. at the end they tell u you'll hear back in 3-5 business days. Phone call = good news email = bad news. I got the phone call on day 4! YAY! Lol my advice is to relax be like(able) make them laugh be yourself and DO YOUR RESEARCH ABOUT THE COMPANY AND THE JOB YOU APPLIED FOR! Good luck!
