An internal recruiter sent me an email with the questions I'm sharing. I replied while on the road. Had a phone screening interview. She seemed VERY disengaged but told me she I was going to move forward to the next round and that she would have an answer next day because she was meeting with the hiring manager. Days went by and radio silence. Sent a follow up email and not even a reply from her. Completely unprofessional. Very surprise such a person is the face of a forward-looking company like Discover.

Question 1
1. Availability for a 30 min call with the hiring manager?
2. This is a hybrid position out of our Riverwoods/Chicago office. Are you open to going into the office 3 days a week?
3. Reason for leaving current position?
4. Will you now or in the future need sponsorship?
5. Salary requirements?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Discover in Nov 2023
Interview
Pretty basic 3 stage process. I met with ith 3 different managers separately. Classic "tell me about yourself" and behavioural questions related to compliance testing. No technical interview. The entire process lasted 1 week and I got a final decision in 2 weeks.

Question 1
What do you do when you identify an area of non-compliance?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Discover in Jan 2023
Interview
Interview lasted only 5 minutes before I rescinded my candidacy as I discovered Discover published an incorrect job description for the role. During the call, it was clarified that the most important competency they were looking for was an expert in Java, but the job description listed that under the "Bonus points if you have" section. It was a complete waste of my time.
