I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Docusign in Aug 2021
Interview
Hiring Manager reached out to me on LinkedIn for an opportunity. I had a hiring manager screen and 2 other interviews. After the interviews, I followed up and the recruiter did not get back to me. I received a message from the HM on linkedIn after a month of the interview saying the recruiter will get back to me soon but I never did. It looks like regularly ghost candidates. Speaks very poorly of them as a company. I won't be interviewing for them in the future.
I applied online. I interviewed at Docusign (Naperville, IL) in Jul 2020
Interview
Met with the hiring manager, two project managers and another manager. Situational type questions about responses to past escalations and difficult clients. Also, questions about past involvement in implementation methodology.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Docusign in Apr 2020
Interview
WORST Interview experience of my life, Manipulative, non-responsive and lying HR rep!
After my final round interviews, I didn't hear back until 3 weeks later (when I was told I'd hear back within 5 business days) even after multiple follow-ups with the recruiting team. In between, a meeting was scheduled with the immigration department at Docusign which seemed strange without the final result. When the recruiting team finally responded to my follow-ups 3 weeks later, I was told by the senior HR rep that the feedback was very positive and the team was very interested in me. However, it was mentioned that as there were 2-3 viable candidates that had been identified, and the hiring manager wanted me to speak with the hiring manager for other product team as I was the only one among the 2-3 viable candidates with the background fit for that team, and then figure which role would be the better fit for me between those two teams. It was said they wanted to do that so that they could keep 2 good candidates identified instead of one. It was also said that the interview process was over, and only a chat with this new hiring manager was needed to decide which team should it be.
But a week later, after having conversation with the other hiring manager, I was abruptly told by the senior HR rep that the original role was no longer available and I'd have go through another full interview process for the new role. When confronted that I was told completely different things a week back, I was just brushed away by saying that this is the new status, and this was my only choice. Eventually the new role also fizzled out without any response from the team even after multiple followups.
So the end result was that I went through an interview process with them for 2 months with multiple rounds and two roles, and the only feedback I got was "the team loved me", "the feedback has all been very positive", without any result.
I suspect what really transpired was that as the other role had been open for 6+ months, when 2-3 viable candidates were identified for the original role, the HR rep to meet his numbers, pushed me forcibly towards the other role so that he could fill both the roles with the same candidate pool. I believe I was continuously manipulated and lied to by the HR rep through the entire process with complete lack of sensitivity and professionalism.
