I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Docusign in Nov 2021
Interview
Such a positive experience and team. Quite straight forward process with 3 steps within 17 days.
Starting with an HR call. More intense than usual you'll be covering more than just your background 40mins).
Following with a hiring manager 35mins call. More like a casual meeting instead of typical ”tell me when interviewing”.
Lastly, 1h presentation with 2 managers covering several things and including an outbound exercise and a role play. +20 mins small talk with a senior of the team
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Docusign (Seattle, WA) in Nov 2021
Interview
It was a quick and smooth experience! I was approached by HR on LinkedIn (shoutout to Rosa on the Seattle team!) and set up a call for the following day.
The phone screen was pleasant, she was mostly interested in my work experience and why the MDR role sounded appealing. I got invited to a Zoom interview the next day, scheduled it out for the next week.
The Zoom interview was with 4 managers (2 groups of 2, 30 mins each) and went into work experience. This part was focused on specific sales experiences I'd had, how much experience I had working with cold calling.
The biggest portion of it was getting to know me as a person. It was a very relaxed conversation, and it was nice to get to know a bit about why the people who lead the teams wake up every day to do the job. They were so receptive to my questions and gave honest answers about their "why", across the board everyone said it was their coworkers! It sounded like a positive company to be a part of.
I got an email from HR the next day to schedule a follow up call and was offered a position during the call. We went over the start date, benefits, and next steps to get me onboarded for the next available date.
Thanks everyone who helped me get to know DocuSign better, I'm excited to join the team!
Tips: Before you meet with them, take some time to reflect on your cold calling and lead generation experience. It was helpful to have that information at the top of my mind.

Question 1
What is your experience with cold calling? What was your average number of calls per day?
There was a panel of interviewers who take turns asking questions in order to better know the candidate and their qualifications. The panelists wanted to learn how well the candidate would mesh with the team, company culture, and how they would succeed in the role.
