The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at EY (Nashville, TN) in Mar 2011
Interview
I got an initial phone interview through a connection with the firm. I made it to the next round, which was an office visit. It was very laid back. Just me and another candidate were interviewing. We had dinner the night before with the recruiter and two first year staff. I had two 45 minute interviews with a Partner and a Senior Manager the next day and a 45 minutes "huddle" with 2 first year staff - the "huddle" is where you get all those questions answered that you wouldn't ask the recruiter or a partner. The day concluded with lunch and was very laid back. I received an e-mail saying I did not receive an offer 4 days later. Overall, it was a positive experience. However, it would be nice to have some feedback, as I felt confident about my interactions with the staff and my interviews.
I had a positive interview experience with EY. The process was well-structured and professional. The interviewers were courteous and created a comfortable environment to discuss my background, technical skills, and problem-solving approach.
