Interview
Basic everyday interview. Nothing too out of the ordinary. They mainly asked questions about my experience in the field, why General Electric, and my future career plans. They seemed to be interested in what I had done and how I would be able to apply it at General Electric. Asked some questions about college and classes that I had taken. What field I wanted to be in, basic stuff like that.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at GE (Astana) in Mar 2014
Interview
I have always enjoyed being in a position that kept me on my toes and this was one of those positions. I learned a lot about load centers! Got along with most of my co-workers. Sometimes I was looked down on because I was a temporary employee. The hardest part of this position was probably packing. I am rather small, but after I figured out how to do it, the job became a lot easier. I enjoyed being able to do all the positions on the line. Being able to switch positions every hour let me learn more.
