Got referred through an employee and then phone screen followed by 2 days of on site interviews. Pretty standard questions on Why Glassdoor, Why now, Why you're the person for the job. Then followed up at the end with a presentation in front of large group of future team. Everyone I interviewed with was focused and helpful. There were some intimidators you had to go through (marketing leadership in particular) but the questions where fair.
Only negative was that the compensation negotiation was rushed and very pushy. Why get all pushy when the interview process was pretty enjoyable and fair? Not transparent in the stock comp or how salary compares to others in the org. Exploding deadline was aggressive. The impact of the initial salary discussion lasts a long time and can create awkwardness with your peers. Seems like your compensation is often based on how aggressive you were during the initial discussion versus your experience, skills and value to the company.
Do your homework and push back if you get an offer.
