I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Google (Peking, Peking) in Aug 2011
Interview
I had this interview in the states. the job is based in China.
First, you will receive a basic phone interview with HR. Quite easy. Most of the questions were behavior interview.
Then she scheduled an other phone interview with an current account manager. questions are about current internet industry situation. Why google? He wanted to see if I can fit into this position.
The third interview was on site interview. I went to google office in DC to have a virtual meeting. Internet connection was really bad. I interviewed with an account manager and a department manager.
Account manager asked: current internet industry situation in China,
Manager asked: what if you were a google travel manager?...etc..
One week later, I received an email from Google. One good news and one bad news.
They gave me positive feedback but Google had a head count issue. Thus the job was closed...
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Google (Dublin, Dublin)
Interview
Organised , 2-3 rounds , more about media experience and more follow-up questions … last few minutes for questions to hiring manager … confident answer in STAR method is best way to proceed
They have a very well-structured hiring process and scheduling interviews was incredibly easy and convenient. The recruiter was super friendly throughout our entire interaction, and they thoughtfully provided post-interview feedback to me, which I greatly appreciated receiving.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Google
Interview
Got referred by a friend, had a call with a nice person from HR, after that I had an interview with a manager, relaxed conversation about how I'd adress certain topics and also did a practical case study,.
